Town of Wallkill Soccer Club Presents the 2007 School Soccer Prep Camp
Come out and enjoy the best local opportunity to help you prepare for your school soccer season. This camp will educate and prepare you in every way to be physically ready for your school season.


Camp Philosophy
The philosophy of the School Soccer Prep Camp is simple. The staff will bring an atmosphere of hard work, dedication, and desire to help all of the players best prepare themselves for the upcoming season. We expect that each camper attending the camp will bring with them the same hard work, dedication and desire to best prepare themselves so that their teams can reach their full potential.
We take great pride in offering soccer specific fitness training, involving a ball in everything we do. The camp staff is committed to developing all players not only physically, but also their technical soccer skills with a ball. As well, the last part of philosophy is that the best way to get fit for soccer is to play soccer. Only through games can everything from fitness ability, technique ability, tactical ability, field intelligence, and vision be developed at once.

Dates and Age Groups
Dates: August 6 ­ 10
Time: 6:00 pm ­ Dusk (Between 8:00 and 8:30 pm)
Age Group*: Camp is open to any player, boy or girl, looking to play school soccer at
any level, modified, JV, or Varsity
*Players will be grouped according to age and ability

Training Activities:
Day 1: Aerobic/Endurance
Day 2: Speed/Explosiveness
Day 3: Anaerobic power exercises
Day 4: Agility
Day 5: Strength

Day 1: Aerobic/Endurance Training:
6:00 ­ 6: 15 Warm up
6:15 ­ 6:45: Aerobic/Endurance Activity #1
6:45 ­ 6:50: Drink
6:50 ­ 7:10: Aerobic/Endurance Activity #2
7:10 ­ 7:15: Drink
7:15 ­ Dusk: Games and cool down at end
